Commission Conference Travel Grants for Students and Early Career Scholars

We are excited to announce travel funding opportunities for early career scholars, independent researchers, and those in unstable positions to participate in the 27th International Congress of History of Science & Technology to be held in Dunedin, New Zealand, 29 June to 5 July 2025, and virtually, to support scholarship relating to the focus of our Commission, on women and gender in history of science, technology, and medicine.

To apply for travel funding, submit as one file (preferably in PDF format) the following information: your anticipated role for participating in the conference (as speaker, chair, commentator, roundtable panelist, or other role), description of your contribution (title/abstract) as it relates to the Commission’s focus, a CV that includes the date (or anticipated date) of your PhD’s conferral, and a detailed budget of your anticipated expenses (for transportation, lodging, registration, etc.).

The deadline for this first round of applications is Monday, 11 November 2024. (We will open a second round if funds are available.)
